A New Step for a Strategic Partnership between Turkish Airlines and the BVMW (German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses)

Strengthening its brand identity all around the world with global partnership agreements, Turkish Airlines signed a declaration of intent with the BVMW (German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses) for strategic partnership.

 The signing ceremony, which was held as part of the BVMW General Assembly and started with Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee M. İlker Aycı's speech in Berlin on February 18, was attended by BVMW President Prof. Dr. Mario Ohoven, Turkey's Ambassador to Berlin Ali Kemal Aydın, and prominent names from the business, politics, arts, and sports circles.

According to the declaration of intent, Turkish Airlines will provide commercial logistics solutions and high-quality transportation services to the member companies of the BVMW thanks to its wide flight network and quality service spanning 124 countries.

With 900,000 members, the BVMW will provide a suitable platform for Turkish Airlines' operations. Moreover, German companies are expected to enjoy the various benefits offered by Turkish Airlines Corporate Club, the airline's frequent flyer program.

Commenting on the agreement during the meeting, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee M. İlker Aycı said, "The benefits and the cooperation we will provide to the BVMW members in different fields on a global scale are planned to be expanded in the medium and long term. With this agreement with the BVMW, we aim to increase our market share in the corporate travel segment, and to become the world's most preferred airline in terms of business travels."

Having made the opening speech at the BVMW General Assembly, Aycı shared the travel advantages offered for international companies by Turkish Airlines' wide flight network and Istanbul Airport with the audience including Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, Albanian President Ilir Meta, and German Minister of Economy and Energy Peter Altmaier.
