Head of Strategic Vendor & Partner Relations at i:FAO Group an Amadeus Company

Christian is Head of Strategic Vendor & Partner Relations and is a “veteran” in managed business travel, having worked in the business travel environment since 1997.

He has been involved in the development, idea generation and selling of a number of online booking tools all over Europe.

The first online booking tool for business travel he worked for went live in 1997 with Eurelios.

Stations such as BTI EuroLloyd, Hapag Lloyd, TQ3/BCD, TUI.

Almost 13 years at the i:FAO Group/Amadeus in different positions has shaped his career. He has been Chairman of the VDR Technology Committee for eight years and has been Chair of the GBTA Europe Technology Committee for 1 ½ year.

He and his team of corporates and suppliers have already showcased a number of groundbreaking technologies and have introduced new products that have changed or will change our industry in years to come.

His newest project are mixed reality, TravelerID, Biometrics for Business Travelers, Urban Mobility and the last mile followed by the possibilities of microservices which will have a considerable impact on our industry.

Customers and colleagues continually benefit from his over 23 years of experience and networking with many of the industry's stakeholders across Germany/Europe and the US.
